Check out What Coupons will be in the 4/1/12 Sunday Paper.

This Sunday we can expect to find 3 Coupon Inserts. The coupon inserts expected in the 4/1/12 Sunday Paper are: (1) SmartSource Insert, (1) P&G Insert & (1) RedPlum Insert.

If you are wanting to build a good stockpile the most important thing you need in order to accomplish this is to have coupons. Our largest resource for coupons is the coupons from the Sunday Papers. I recommend buying a minimum of 2 papers for EACH member of your household. (A minimum of 4, in case you are single and couponing for yourself) You will MORE than make up your cost for the papers!! (For my family of 6, I buy 16 every Sunday…and yes..it’s worth the money!)

 

  • Some city papers just don’t carry the inserts or all of them. If this is the case where you live, you can order the whole unclipped insert or just the coupons you are wanting from a coupon clipping service. Below is a great Coupon Clipping Service with VERY reasonable prices and WONDERFUL service!

A Few Tips to Shopping at CVS:

1) You must have a CVS card to receive the savings and ECBs. You can register for one with the cashier.
2) Scan your CVS card at the Kiosk inside the store to see what Coupons print up for you before you shop.
3) Unlike Walgreens, You can buy more than one identical item offering ECB in a transaction and receive ECB on both.
4) You can have more coupons than items at CVS. that rule only applies to Walgreens.
ECB: Extra Care Bucks=Reward Money that can be used in CVS towards your purchase of other items. (excluding dairy, gift cards and prescriptions.)
PROFIT: Does NOT mean you receive money back, simply that you receive more in ECB than you spent out of pocket.

March 30, 2012 Giving Back: Items you Can Donate for Under $2.00

If you’ve been reading my blog for even a short period of time, you know that I am HUGE on ‘Giving Back’ and Blessing others. My family was incredibly blessed by the ministry of a food bank in our time of need and also by others who would give us care baskets full of groceries. I am blessed that today I’m able to ‘Give Back’ and bless others out of the abundance I have from being a Savvy Couponer. Each week I suggest a few items that can be donated for around $2. If you can’t get to a Food Bank…PLEASE donate to a family in need! YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

3/30/12 – Mega Swagbucks Friday!

My favorite thing to buy with my Swagbucks is the Amazon e-gift card. Once you get the code for your gift card you apply it to your amazon.com account, and it never expires. You just build up credit there until you have enough to buy what you’re wanting!

 

How you can Earn Swagbucks:
1) When you search the web for something, search on swagbucks instead, and every so often you’ll earn points.
2) Download the Swagbucks Toolbar and everyday you earn 1 pt just for having that downloaded
3) Do the Daily Poll each day for another point
4) Taking Surveys is an excellent way to earn
5) Referring your friends
6) There are often codes/ hints to codes given on the toolbar for extra points. This takes a little longer to ‘hunt’ for the code from clues given, but if you have a few extra minutes it’s worth it!!
