Frugal Family Activities: Check List Placemats

Each week the Lovely Tracy over at Having fun Saving gets some great Frugal Family Fun Activities together for us.  I love her idea this week! This week Tracy shows us how to make these fun Checklist Placemats, which are perfect for making sure that everything is done before the kids head out the door for school!

Check List Placemats

She also has a great idea for Lunchbox notes for your kids.  My mom always wrote notes to us on our napkins…which is a tradition I’ve carried on with my own children.  :-)

Have fun with making these Check List Placemats this week!

Free Family Activities Tampa | Farmers Market

The lovely Tracy from over at Having Fun Saving just sent me her Frugal Family Fun tip of the week and I LOVE IT!  How many of you have ever been to the Farmer’s Market.  I have driven by, but haven’t been. Every Sunday after church we would drive by the Farmer’s Market in Downtown Tarpon Springs and it looked like so much fun!  I’ve also been by the Tampa Farmers Market in Ybor, but never stopped to really look. They had live music and lots of fresh vegetables and produce for what I’ve heard are amazing prices!   I think I may need to make a trip there this weekend with my family!

Head over and check out Tracy’s Frugal Family Fun post for some other great places and ways to find a Farmer’s Market in Your area!

Here’s a tip, start bartering on price for produce about 20 minutes before the market closes for some great prices and bargains! :-)
