Publix Coupon Savings Show and Tell

Publix Coupon Savings: Show & Tell 9-2

I made it to Publix yesterday…finally.   I was hoping to get to Publix on Friday for a full shopping trip, as many of the coupons expired then, but I just wasn’t able to pull it off.

I’m happy with my savings, but am bummed I missed so many deals…like the Dr Pepper deal!  We had company over on Friday evening, so I did run in and grab soda on Friday, but I bought Mug Root Beer 12 packs and Sierra Mist 12 packs, which there were no coupons for. I didn’t see any Regular Dr Pepper 12 packs left in my store…although I was rushing to make it home before our company, so I probably just missed it.  I’m still happy that I got to save 50% on soda my family loves, with the B2G2 Free Sale going on. Sometimes we just have to save what we can with the time we have. That’s couponing for the ‘Real World’.   (The soda is not in this show & tell, as this is my Saturday shopping trip.)

My goal each shopping trip is to save at least 50%, anything over that I’m thrilled with!

You may notice I didn’t pick any meat up. I still have lunch meat in my freezer from the Butterball deal a couple of weeks ago, chicken breasts are stocked up, I also have steak, pork chops and salmon in my freezer, so I’m pretty set on protein. However, we MIGHT head back today to get spareribs to grill up for Labor Day, just have to decide if my husband is up to grilling those, as it’s a 10 hour process. ;-)

How did you all do this week? I’d love to read about your coupon savings. Please your totals in the comments below. :-)
