Publix Photo Show & Tell: 71% Savings

by Kimberly on July 30, 2011

I have to tell you, my 4 kids go through so much food!  There are only 2 boxes of the Cinnabon Pancakes I bought 2 weeks ago, so I bought Waffles tonight! That should last them about a week! LOL. I certainly have focused on stocking up on food for them the past few weeks. They can no longer say ‘MOOOMMMMM…there’s nothing for us to eat here!’ LOL. I have a great stockpile, but apparently nothing they wanted….does anyone else go through that with their kids, or am I all alone on this one? :-)  I definitely bought some things I wouldn’t normally buy tonight (like nature valley granola thins, Townhouse Crackers, and Oreo Cookies…it’s been a long time since we’ve had cookies in our house) but I wanted  a few extra snacks in the house for the kids to last them through the rest of summer break.

Below is a list of everything I bought and exactly what coupons I used.

Red = Manufacturer Coupons
Green = Store/Competitor coupons
SS = Smart Source Sunday Coupon Insert (date of which Sunday indicated)
RP = RedPlum Sunday Coupon Insert (date of which Sunday indicated)
P&G = Procter & Gamble Sunday Coupon Insert (date of which Sunday indicated)

  • Each Publix varies as to whom they consider to be competitors, so check with your Publix first to see what competitor coupons they accept. The store I shopped at tonight accepts Save-A-Lot, Winn-Dixie, Sweetbay and Target coupons
  • Not all Publix allow overage. This is when the dollar amount of your coupons exceeds the price the item costs. It is up to each individual manager. My Publix does allow this.
