Publix Show & Tell

by Kimberly on April 8, 2011

I saved more at Publix today than I thought I was going to. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts were on sale $1.99/lb. The last time they were that cheap was before Christmas, so I wanted to ‘Stock Up’ on that while it’s at that price. Having no coupons for that…I thought my bill was going to be much more than it was. So I’m VERY happy. I also went to Winn-Dixie tonight, for the first time in about 6-8mths. I’m really not a huge fan, BUT we were in need of some produce and there were some great prices there, so I gave in and am glad I did. I’ll post the show & tell for that in a little bit. I am NOT an Extreme Coupon Shopper. I do have a stockpile, but not an entire grocery store in my home. LOL. I have only what my family needs to last us 4-6 mths…and some things not even that long. The rest of things I donate. I think we all have ‘real’ lives, can’t always grab the coupons needed and sometimes need things that aren’t on sale. With that….I’ll tell you exactly what I got, what coupons I used and how much I spent! I hope this helps all of you save some money and get some much needed food for you family.

**Disclaimer**:
1)Not all Publix allow you to use more than one identical store coupon per transaction.
2) Not all Publix allow ‘overage’. Check with the customer service desk at your store before you shop to see what their store policy is.
