Publix Show & Tell Savings: 80%

Publix Show & Tell Savings

Wow, I had a HUGE Shopping trip yesterday! I LOADED UP on Kellogg’s Cereal. You all may think I went overboard buying cereal, but if you knew how fast my four kids go through cereal, you’d understand. I really don’t want to have to buy cereal again until I can get it super cheap like this again. (But there’s no way this will last us that long). I bought some nice produce, so my husband and I can make our homemade Pasta Sauce this weekend and a Nice Meal with Tuscan Chicken (topped with tomatoes, mushrooms, prosciutto and mozarella) yummmm. Every few months we make a HUGE batch of sauce and freeze it up! We have the Italian sausage I got a deal on a couple weeks ago at Publix to add to the sauce and Chicken Breasts I stocked up on at Albertsons a few weeks ago. I actually went to 2 different Publix stores and had a total of 4 separate transactions so that I could use 4 of my $5 off $30 Winn-Dixie coupons and my $2 off $2 Purchase Publix Coupons. I bought SO MUCH but still had Super Savings! Below you can see exactly what I purchased, the order I did my transactions in, the coupons I used and how much I spent and saved. I have so much fun shopping when I can save money. There was a day (not all that long ago) when I would always have to watch the total and have them take items off because it was more than we had money for, and…there was barely anything in the cart then. Learning how to coupon has changed our lives. We have an abundance of food and personal Care items, and are now able to donate the  very items that a few short years ago, we struggled to buy for ourselves. It is so worth every bit of effort that it takes. For all of you beginners….keep at it!  When you go to checkout and only have to pay 20% of your bill…it’s WORTH EVERY BIT OF EFFORT this takes.  With that….here is my Publix Shopping Trip.

Disclosure:

  • Not All Publix Stores Allow Overage. This is up to each manager.
  • Not All Publix Will allow you to use Register Rewards (although these are Manufacturer coupons) this is up to each manager
  • Each Publix Varies as to what competitor coupons they will accept. Please check at your Publix for a list of accepted competitors. (Mine accepts Target, Sweetbay, Winn-Dixie and Save-A-Lot coupons)
