CVS Show & Tell

by Kimberly on April 10, 2011

I love shopping at CVS. I save so much money there!! It take a little bit of patience and a little more brain power figuring out what order to do transactions in to stretch your Dollar, but it is sooo worth it!
Below is a List of Exactly What I bought and how I did it. For those of you that are new to shopping at CVS there are a few tips to keep in mind.

Tips to Shopping at CVS:
1) Register for a CVS Card with the cashier so you can receive the rewards and savings
2) ECB = Extra Care Bucks. There are certain items each week that provide you with ECB. These are printed up at the bottom of your receipt. You can use this “Money” to pay for other items in the store (excluding dairy, gift cards, tobacco and prescriptions)
3) Because of the ECBs you will see I do several seperate transactions and use the ECB from one transaction to help pay for the next.
4) Each item offering ECB will have a limit (usually 1 or 2 per card). Look in the ad to verify the limit so you don’t buy more than you’ll receive ECB for.
5) Scan your CVS Card at the Kiosk inside the store before you shop to see what coupons print up for you.
