Cheapest Protein Powder & Protein Bar Deals April 2012

As you know I am working hard at Getting Healthy and in shape. One item that is just plain expensive is Protein Powders and Protein Bars. My husband and I looked online and around town to not only find the best deals, the best deals on Protein Products that are also actually good and High in Protein low in Carbs. There are a lot of products out there, and many of them don’t have very many grams of protein per scoop or bar, so we kept that in mine as we searched. Honestly the best deals we found were at Sam’s Club. I’m not sure what the current membership there is, but ours is $35 for the year, so it’s not too expensive. The only things we purchase there is Protein and Fuel, and it’s well worth the savings. My husband can not eat Peanut Butter, so the Premier Protein Bars we used to get at Sam’s Club we can no longer get, I’ll share the price on them below. We ended up finding a good deal on the larger size Pure Protein Bars at Vitamin Discount though. My husband also wanted a PURE Protein Powder that has ZERO Carbs, so he got his protein powder at Vitamin Discount and I got mine at Sam’s Club. There are some great Deals online, but after you pay for shipping it comes out to about the same price, sometimes a little more.

Later this week I am going to discuss how we can still save using coupons even with a Healthy Diet Plan! I know many of you feel like it’s pointless to coupon, because most of the coupons out there seem to be just for ‘junk food’. So, let’s talk about that and  hopefully I’ll be able to shed some light on all of this for you.

Vitamin Discount Prices:

Isopure Protein Powder, 3 pound container, $43.00
2 Scoops = 50 Grams of Protein and 0 Carbs (This is obviously the Best Protein Powder Product, which is why my husband wanted it…teeheehee)

Pure Protein Bars, 12 pack, 78 gram bars, $25.00 + 10% Discount if you purchase the full box
Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar = 31 grams of Protein and 25 grams of Carbs (these are the protein bars we bought. Different flavors for my husband sans Peanut Butter….they’re a little larger in size and work better as a meal replacement for me than the smaller bars did.  I usually eat one of these each day for breakfast)

We Bought 1 Container of the Isopure and 3 boxes of the Pure Protein Bars and one Protein Shaker for me, We paid $76.53 for everything, but the someone there discounted everything even more for us…my husband really  pushed for a discount.   (It would have cost about $115.00 with just the 10% Discount for purchasing the full boxes)…so I’m THRILLED with the deal he found.
